Creating Your Own Products to Sell
I was up at 7:30 this morning with my wife and kids. It was great! The new baby, David John Jr. was awake in his rocker next to our bed and our 3 and 4 year old came running in and opened the curtains and told us, “how come it is not morning time in this window, but it is morning time in this window?” You see, our one window faces north and our other window faces east, so the one window was getting the morning light and the other was not, but how do you explain that to a 4 year old! It was so damn cute!! Anyway, the girls climbed into bed with us and we just hung out for a half of an hour or so. It was a great way to start my day!
After drinking some coffee and checking my email, I sat down and began to work on my eBook. I do not want to give out too much information before I start to sell it, but it is about how to sell eBooks on eBay successfully. There are soooo many products out there that teach you how to sell eBooks (information products) on eBay, but they do not teach you how to maximize your sales and they do not teach you how to use eBay as a marketing tool to generate sales outside of eBay. That is one of the reasons I decided to create my own eBook.
I am a high school math teacher and I have learned how to break down time consuming tasks (which because of their length makes them difficult) into smaller and easier to understand chunks and that is what I have done with my eBook: Resell Rights Remix. It took me over 160 pages and 8 videos (over 2 hours worth) to do a good job of teaching one how to sell information products successfully on eBay.
If you are interested in learning more about resell rights products you can fill out the form to the right. By signing up you will receive a 7 part eCourse on resell rights.

The Power of Web 2.0
|
The power of web 2.0 sites aka social networking sites to help drive traffic to websites is amazing!! My good friend and mentor JL Scott is preparing to launch his first information product about how he became a Tituium PowerSeller on eBay (over $250,000 per month in sales). He wanted to test his sales copy on eBay. I asked him if he wanted me to make a video testimonial and post it on youtube. He told me that would be cool and I did. I made and posted the video on youtube and then embedded (a fancy word for putting the youtube video on another site) the video on my blog and other social networking sites. I linked the video to my eBay store and started chatting up product on my sites. The four items that were listed had many more hits than any of my products ever had before!! As JL was doing his keyword research for his sales page, MY youtube video came up! I was stoked when he emailed me. This one video will help drive traffic to his product and I owe all to free social networking sites such as youtube, myspace or one of the many others such as tagged or facebook (which I have not created an account at just yet, but will be in the near future. |
